General introduction: A biological desulfurization tower is the core equipment of biological desulfurization technology, mainly used to remove sulfur-containing pollutants from industrial waste gas and waste liquid.
Working Principle
Biological metabolic reaction: Microorganisms convert sulfur pollutants into harmless substances. Alkaline liquid absorbs sulfur dioxide and converts it into sulfate and sulfite. Sulfate-reducing bacteria reduce ions into sulfide, and sulfur-oxidizing bacteria further convert sulfide into recyclable elemental sulfur.
Structural Composition
Tower body: Cylindrical structure made of anti-corrosion materials such as FRP, stainless steel and coated carbon steel to resist sulfur corrosion.
Packing layer: The core area for microbial adhesion. Common fillers include plastic garland, ceramic and elastic three-dimensional packing with large specific surface area and high porosity.
Gas-liquid distribution device: Located at the bottom to evenly distribute waste gas or liquid, ensuring sufficient contact with microorganisms.
Spraying system: Spray nutrient solution and cleaning liquid. Nutrients maintain microbial activity, while cleaning liquid prevents packing blockage.
Microbial culture system: Equipped with strain domestication devices and control instruments to stabilize temperature, pH value and dissolved oxygen for microbial growth.
Control system: Adopt PLC and online monitors to automatically control temperature, pH, liquid level and gas flow with fault alarm function.
