Dust-laden gas and black smoke exhaust enter the bottom cone hopper of the purification tower and are flushed by water spray.
Part of dust and smoke fully mix with circulating spraying water under the action of airflow and water mist impact.
Dust particles are captured by water, separated from gas by centrifugal force or filtration, and flow down to the circulation tank along the tower wall by gravity, while purified gas is discharged outwards.

Process Principle of Spray Tower Waste Gas Treatment
Detailed Process Steps
Waste gas collection: Gather scattered waste gas via air collecting hoods.
Waste gas delivery: Convey waste gas steadily to purification equipment by induced draft fans.
Gas-liquid contact: Waste gas flows into the spray tower and is fully washed by acidic or alkaline spraying liquid.
Neutralization reaction: Odorous and harmful components fully react with atomized liquid mist to achieve decontamination.
Gas-liquid separation: The packing layer forms large contact areas for further purification. The spraying liquid flows back to the bottom tank for cyclic reuse.
Clean gas discharge: Qualified clean gas is exhausted into the atmosphere.
- Featured with simple structure, high efficiency and low operating cost, spray towers are widely applied in industrial waste gas treatment.
