Project Overview
A large food enterprise in Central China has been emitting severe malodorous gases from the regulating tank, anaerobic tank and other units of its sewage treatment station. The main components are hydrogen sulfide, ammonia and a small amount of VOCs, which has caused complaints from the surrounding residents.
Solution
We adopt a combined process of "acid washing spray + alkali washing spray + biological filter". The malodorous gas first passes through a spray tower (with an acid washing section at the front end and an alkali washing section at the back end) to remove inorganic malodorous substances and regulate humidity, and then enters the biological filter, where the remaining small-molecule organic malodorous substances are degraded by the metabolic action of microorganisms.
Project achievements
The problem of foul odor has been effectively resolved. The odor concentration at the factory boundary has reached the national first-class standard, and all resident complaints have been cleared. This solution has a low operating cost and causes no secondary pollution, solving a major community relationship problem for the client.
