1. Overview of PP Spray Tower Purification Equipment
The spray tower purification equipment is independently developed, optimized and manufactured by the company through years of research and continuous technological improvement. It is an efficient, energy-saving and practical gas purification device.
This equipment is suitable for the collection and purification of water-soluble gases such as alkaline vapor and acidic gases generated in pickling processes. The treatable pollutants include acid mist (H₂SO₄), hydrogen chloride (HCl), hydrogen fluoride (HF), chromic acid mist (CrO₃), hydrogen cyanide (HCN), hydrogen sulfide (H₂S), ammonia (NH₃) and alkaline vapor. Sodium hydroxide solution with a concentration of 2-6% is adopted as the neutralization absorbent. The purification efficiency is stably maintained above 95% and can reach up to 98%. Due to wide application scenarios, spray towers are manufactured with various materials to meet different working conditions.

2. Structural Form of PP Spray Tower Purification Equipment
Overall Structure: The PP spray tower is designed with two spraying layers and one mist elimination layer. Based on the gas-liquid countercurrent principle, the mist elimination layer is arranged at the upper part, supported by grating plates (plate-type water eliminator for upgraded models). Φ50 polyhedral hollow balls are used as packing to separate entrained moisture and prevent water discharge with exhaust gas. The two spraying layers are installed at the lower part. Φ75 Raschig rings or Φ50 polyhedral hollow balls can be selected as packing materials. Each layer is uniformly equipped with DN15 high-efficiency spiral nozzles. Φ50 spraying pipes are adopted to ensure smooth circulation of liquid medium.
The water tank and tower body are integrated into one structure to maximize internal space and store sufficient circulating water. Vertical submersible pumps are installed on the water tank to provide stable circulating power for the spraying system and ensure uniform atomization effect.
Inlet and Outlet: The size of air inlet and outlet can be customized arbitrarily. Three Φ500 detection observation windows are reserved to monitor internal operating conditions. The window glass is detachable for convenient packing replacement. Sealing strips are embedded in the flange grooves of observation windows to enhance tightness and prevent liquid and gas leakage.
The cylindrical tower body is manufactured in segmented flange connection structure with polypropylene (PP) and polyvinyl chloride (PVC) materials. The spraying and absorption system consists of packing, spraying device, mist elimination device, circulating pump and absorption tower. Complete structural components include air inlet section, pressure chamber, spraying section, swirl plate, chimney cone cover, ventilation pipeline, liquid flow meter, liquid level gauge, pressure detection port and pH detector.
